Artist Statement
My work utilizes design, illustration, and print to investigate human connection to the world around us. I advocate for the environment, and that we recognize ourselves as a part of nature, not something separate. Alongside my exploration of the relationship between humans and nature I explore my personal relationship to the Earth.
Artist Bio
Hannah Lynch was born in Fort Myers, Florida. She is currently pursuing a BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, with a focus on Visual Communications and Print Media. Her studies of chemistry and the environment greatly influence her design work. She has created design work for the school’s DEI Department and their social media and worked on a cookbook project sponsored by the Project UnLonely / SAIC Collaborative Artmaking Grant.
